A bloody and unconscious England fan was dragged to safety after Russian ‘Ultras’ knocked him out during a vicious attack in Marseilles.

The victim, believed to be a man named Paul from Bournemouth, was pummelled in brutal attacks on England supporters before the Three Lions’ Euro 2016 match against Russia on Saturday.

One eyewitness, Joe Tyrrell from Woolton in Merseyside, said a highly organised mob of 300 ‘Ultras’ ambushed peaceful England fans in a square.
